To enable strong learning at school and between home and school, the College provides Years 7-9 students with Windows laptop, while Years 10-12 students receive an Apple laptop. With its multi-media capabilities, the Apple MacBook is an ideal curriculum tool in senior school as there are significant benefits in the classroom and in overall management and support. Most teachers set homework on Compass, which is accessible at home, as well as school.

A Friday afternoon Elective program for students in Years 7,8, 9 and 10 has been successfully introduced to build strengths, skills and lifelong abilities. Popular Electives include soccer, cooking, badminton, basketball, art, volleyball, STEM and many others. Students prioritise the Elective they would like to do and Electives change each semester.

Playford College is pleased with the opportunities we are offering our Secondary students. 100% of our Year 12 students in 2022 and 2023 not only gained their SACE but also University entrance if this was their chosen pathway. Students achieved outstanding results in Year 12 in 2023 with the Dux of the College achieving an excellent ATAR of 98.15 and the Proxima Accessit 96.30.
