Welcome to Playford College

Playford College is an impressive coeducational Foundation to Year 12 school in Elizabeth, South Australia. Families are attracted to our College by our education and celebration of the Islamic faith and our strong teaching and learning program focussed on the Australian Curriculum. Students appreciate the kind-hearted and dedicated staff who strive to nurture the emotional, physical, academic, social and spiritual needs of each child.

As a new school in 2017, Playford College was blessed to commence with 78 students on an existing school site. By Census Day in 2018 we had 241 students and by Census Day in 2019 we had 307 students from Foundation to Year 9.

In 2019, the College established specialist teachers upon introduction of the Middle School Years 6 to 9 and provided each student with a laptop and popular elective offering. By 2022, a Senior School comprised of Year 10, 11 and 12 was formed, facilitated by an impressive teaching team offering a high standard of teaching and learning. This growth has continued exponentially as we have now progressed to over 670 students from Foundation to Year 12 in 2025.

Playford College has demonstrated a strong tradition of academic excellence. In both 2022 and 2023, all of our Year 12 students successfully attained their South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). In 2023, students achieved commendable results, with the College Dux earning an ATAR of 98.15 and the Proxima Accessit achieving 96.30.

In 2024, the College reached a significant academic milestone, with four students attaining an ATAR of 99.95, an extraordinary accomplishment that reflects the dedication of our students and the commitment of our staff to academic excellence.

Playford College is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of its Year 12 students in 2025, with 100% of students successfully achieving their SACE. The cohort achieved exceptional academic results, including a raw ATAR of 99.90 for the College Dux and 99.35 for the Proxime Accessit, while an additional four students achieved an adjusted ATAR of 99.95. These remarkable results reflect the dedication, perseverance and academic excellence of our students and are a significant achievement for a young school in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, highlighting the College’s commitment to preparing students for success in further education and future careers.

We would be delighted to meet you, should you be interested in visiting Playford College as you consider schooling options for your family.
