The introduction of the Playford College Community Hub has been a wonderful success for our community members, for pre-schoolers and parents.
The playgroup sessions have been wonderful, with preschoolers learning and developing skills and key communication, literacy and social milestones. Additionally, the Hub has introduced the ‘Little Believers Playgroup’ in 2024, which is a structured Islamic playgroup, focusing on new an Islamic theme each week. Therefore, helping parents teach their children more about their faith in a guided learning environment.
The Hub also runs English, computer, sewing, cooking and parenting sessions with the Sheikh and School Counsellor for mothers of the College and community. For each school Term, the Community Hub timetable changes to with different activities and sessions being run, both for needs and preferences of the community.
The College is delighted to continue to host the Community Hub and are pleased to see so many families supporting the program. The Hub is always happy to see new faces and meet new members of the community.
